Geofiction week 2

We are really pleased to be working with our Geography department colleagues on their GeoFiction project.  Together we have created reading lists of books which make links with some of the topics covered in our Geography lessons.  You might just want to read these lovely books for the pleasure of it too.

We will be publishing a reading list each week for three weeks.

Jhalak Prize short list

The Jhalak Prize Children's and YA shortlist has been announced.  This prize is unique in that it seeks to support and celebrate books by British and British resident writers of colour.

Some of these great titles can be found in our Libraries.

Books shops and Public Libraries open April 12 2021

We are really excited that there will be an easing of lockdown in England and Wales from Monday the 12th of April 2021.  This means that bookshops will be open again.  Libraries in Bromley are opening up and Libraries in Lewisham will be offering a click and collect service.

When we return to school after Easter we will continue to offer a 'Click and Collect' service in both our Libraries.

We are looking forward to receiving lots of entries from TRS students for our Reading Challenge competition.

It is pretty chilly in Bromley, why not snuggle up with a good book?

Easter Reading

Poor Ms. Brown Easter M&M ... she does not know which fabulous books to choose for her Easter reading.  We hope she is planning to take up our Reading Challenge.
