Marcus Rashford MBE, sportsperson, Manchester United & England International Footballer, author and social campaigner is now to become guest editor of a special edition of the Beano comic!!  That is sure to turn out to be a collector's item!

We have his best seller, You Are a Champion, in our Lower School Library along with Matt and Tom Oldfield's book Rashford.  Marcus' new book, You Can Do It, will be on our shelves in September.

Summer Reading Challenge

Libraries across the UK are once again inviting young people to take up the Summer Reading Challenge. You can get involved by joining here. The Reading Agency are teaming up with the Science Museum for a science themed challenge called Gadgeteers. Don't forget to sign up for a summer of reading, discovery and fun!

Win National Book Tokens

 

This summer, National Book Tokens are giving away a £25 of National Book Tokens every week until the end of August. Simply upload a photo of your holiday reading to their gallery, and say in a few words where you plan to read, and you are in with a chance to win!  All ages are welcome to enter.

A big thank you to our Year 12 Library Assistants, Avril and Emily, for putting together this lovely summer reading Library display to help encourage and inspire our students to read over the summer break.
