Crisis at Christmas

Thousands of people will be homeless this Christmas.  We are proud to say that one again some of the staff at TRS choose to make a donation to Crisis instead of sending Christmas cards. This year the total raised is £160 which will pay for more than 5 places.

Darwin 200

We are very proud of the Bromley connection with Charles Darwin, who lived in Down House, Bromley, from 1842 until his death in 1882.  This week Darwin200 launched their two year global voyage, which will make landfall at key locations where Charles Darwin stepped ashore during the voyage of HMS Beagle.  There is a fantastic 'World Classroom' here.

We have lots of books on Charles Darwin, but have to say we think Corpse Talk Ground-Breaking Scientists is the most fun!

There are some great Corpse Talk YouTube videos too.
Thanks to Mrs Nolan from Eden Park High School Libraries for telling us about these.
