Healthy Eating Week 2023

This week is Healthy Eating Week so our wonderful Post 16 Helpers, Daniel, Emilis, Marvellous, Tara and Ugne created this lovely display of books, on and about, food, recipes and eating.  

Pride Month 2023

June is Pride Month 🌈and we are ready in our Libraries with two fantastic book displays.  Thank you to Mrs Bhandari and our Post 16 Helper Khrisha.

Mental Health Awareness Week

 

The 15th to the 21st of May 2023 is Mental Health Awareness Week.  We think laughter can sometimes be the best medicine so we have created a display of our favourite funny books.  We hope you like it 😃😃😃

Romantic Fantasy

A student suggested we buy romantic fantasy, and we will certainly keep a look out for any new titles.  Meanwhile we thought we would highlight the romantic fantasy we already have in stock.

A Kind of Spark

All ten episodes of A Kind of Spark are now available on BBC iPlayer.  We recommend you read the book by Elle McNicoll, which is available for our students to borrow from our Discovery Library.  A Kind of Spark tells the story of neurodivergent Addie as she tries to unravel the mystery of what happened to Maggie and Elinor, two sisters accused of witchcraft in 16th century England.
