Thursday the 7th of October is National Poetry Day and the theme this year is Choice.  Why not choose a poem you would like to give to someone important to you?  Where better to look for inspiration than the school Library?

There are some fantastic Black History Month resources available. We recommend Cargo, this brilliant Black History Calendar, a useful Black History Month resource pack and the 100 Great Black Britons resource pack plus some really good Lit In Colour reading lists put together by Penguin Books.
