Kaspar; Prince of Cats by Michael Morpurgo

If you read this book I can guarantee that you will not be able to put it down!  It is such a gripping read and is one of my favourite books.   Johnny Trott is a bell boy who carried Countess Kandinsky’s things to her room in the Savoy Hotel … that is when Johnny met Prince of Cats, Kaspar Kadinsky!  From the moment the young Johnny say Kaspar, he knew what an extraordinary cat he was!

Read this book to find out about their journeys and lives ….You’ll definitely want to recommend it!

Lola Rose by Jacqueline Wilson
Written by Anya 7SA

Lola Rose is a really good book because you really don’t know what is going to come next.  It is also good because it could be a real life story; most girls could relate to this.
Jacqueline Wilson is on the most creative authors.  It is mouth-watering, heart-pumping and is very exciting.  You would want to read on more and not stop!!!!!!! The story line is like a roller coaster when the feelings of the characters go from sad to happy to lonely to angry.

In the book you meet lots and lots of new characters on the way and learn more about the characters feelings and emotions.

Horrible Histories by Terry Deary
Written by James 7GE
Critics, I’m going to explain why you should read a book by showing you the one I’m reading at the moment.  The book is called Horrible Histories by Terry Deary and it builds a picture in your head of things that went on in the different stages in history!

It also improves your talking skills when reading it so when you’re older it will be easier to get a job when you’re being interviewed by a boss or manager.
If you have children in the age of 5-13 this book is recommended by librarians and kids who have already read it, also if you finish and you like it there are lots more varieties starring the Saxons, the Romans, the Egyptians, the Tudors and not forgetting World War I and World War II!
