Michael Rosen

The amazing writer and poet Michael Rosen, author of so many well loved books, including Centrally Heated Knickers and We're Going On a Bear Hunt, has been out of action for some time due to Coronavirus, including a 47 day stay in the Intensive Care Unit.  The great news is today he was well enough to tweet for the first time since the 26th of March.  

So inspiring and loved is the book We're Going On a Bear Hunt that, during the pandemic, worldwide people have been putting bears in their windows for children to spot during their daily exercise.  The Bear Hunt activity and its impact even made Time Magazine.

Michael wrote These are the Hands to celebrate the NHS on its 60th anniversary.

So good to hear that one of our favourite writers is back in action 😊
