The Carnegie short list this year includes eight books, which are available to borrow now in the Discovery and War Memorial Libraries.
We also have two of the Greenaway short listed books too, namely Chris Riddell's Goth Girl and The Ghost of A Mouse and Dark Satanic Mills by Marcus and Julian Sedgwick.
The themes this year include war, sickness and adversity and the winners will be announced on 22 June. A summary of all the books is available to read on the New Books pages of the Library Blog.
Why not read all the books on the short list and decide which one you would vote for? It would be great too if you could write a book review for the Library Blog and for display!
