John Green, author of The Fault in Our
Stars, the best-selling book about teens Hazel and Gus who meet at a cancer support group, is calling on fans of the book to organise a fundraising sleepover on 26 June to raise £25,000 for the Teenager Cancer Trust.
A fundraising pack for the “Night of Infinities” is available to download. This includes information on how to organise the sleepover and fund-raise for it safely, plus a personal thank you letter from John for taking part, real-life stories from young cancer patients and lots of fundraising ideas.
Suggestions of ten books to read after Fault in Our Stars is available on the Guardian Children's book website. Some of these are available to borrow from the War Memorial Library.
