The half term is a perfect opportunity to do some reading for pleasure! We have some fantastic books for you to borrow and browse.
If you need some encouragement to rekindle your love of reading, here are a couple of tips:
Choose carefully – think about what you are interested in reading, there is no right or wrong! It could be fiction or non-fiction, funny books, horror stories, romance or 'real-life' fiction. Ask a friend to recommend a book they’ve enjoyed or ask your Librarian for ideas.
Make time to read every day - it may sound obvious but even if you don’t like reading, with the right book reading will become a habit and something to enjoy. The Libraries have lots of great books from The Knife of Never Letting Go trilogy by Patrick Ness to A Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens as well as graphic novels, including James Patterson's fabulous Manga version of his Maximum Ride series.
